LUCUA osaka consists of three buildings – the East Building “LUCUA”, the West Building “LUCUA 1100”, and the South Building “LUCUA SOUTH” – forming one of Japan’s largest station-based commercial complexes operated as a single unified entity.
About LUCUA

- About the name
- We’ve taken the first letters of the words Lifestyle, Urban, CUrrent and Axis to convey our wish to provide a place where you can make your highly sensitive, sophisticated lifestyle a reality. In addition, by making it a play on the words “Look up” and “Aruku (to walk),” we’ve incorporated the hope that you’ll wander around and enjoy yourself.

The logo type was designed to project an atmosphere of high quality. The angular edges emphasize the innovative attitude we display as we steadily advance ahead of the times. The color is a vivid, feminine “berry red.” The shade expresses youthfulness and the constant transmission of new fashions.
About LUCUA 1100
Based on the keywords "gap, contrast, and marriage," we propose new value that fuses the gaps and contrasts between a variety of products and different shops. We're particularly good at combining different genres in novel ways.
- About the name
- "1100" represents the thousands of products that we offer across hundreds of genres. Its Japanese pronunciation is also linked to the German word "ihre" (meaning "your"), conveying the fact that we would like LUCUA to exist for the benefit of our guests.

About LUCUA SOUTH
By introducing entirely new experiences not previously available at LUCUA osaka, LUCUA SOUTH will enhance the circulation of existing customers while providing local residents with a “compelling new reason” to visit LUCUA for the first time.
- About the name
- We named it LUCUA SOUTH with the hope that it would become a bright and welcoming place for everyone, much like the sun rising in the southern sky and casting its light across the city. The name conveys our aspiration for the radiance of “SOUTH” to bring energy and vitality to the Osaka/Umeda area and to all who visit.

The logo features “Sun Red”, a warm and inviting color that complements LUCUA’s Berry Red and LUCUA 1100’s Wine Red, expressing both brightness and energy.
For customers residing outside Japan,
In accordance with the terms and conditions of the LUCUA Members Card, the issuance of a card, as well as earning and using points, is limited to residents living in Japan.
Please note: Customers who have applied for a tax exemption will be considered non-residents and will not qualify for a member card or for earning and using points.

To protect the privacy of customers, store staff, and other employees, and to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers, unauthorized photography, video recording, and posting to social media platforms, including for commercial purposes, are strictly prohibited throughout the premises.
If you wish to take photos for purposes such as considering a purchase, please ask a sales staff nearby in advance.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the building except in designated smoking rooms (LUCUA / LUCUA 1100 B2F & 10F / LUCUA SOUTH 14F & 16F).
Please use the bins provided and do not litter.
Kindly do not dispose of any trash brought in from outside.
Please refrain from eating or drinking outside the restaurants or designated areas.
The use of roller shoes or riding electric suitcases inside the building is not permitted.
For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed in restaurants and food shops.
In all other areas, pets must be kept in their closed carriers at any time. (except assistance dogs)
When using escalators, please hold onto your belongings and stand on both sides.
For safety reasons, customers with strollers or wheelchairs are kindly asked to use the elevators instead.
Tipping or falling of strollers or wheelchairs on escalators is highly dangerous and can cause serious accidents.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping yourself, your children, and all other customers safe.
Customers using wheelchairs or strollers are welcome to use the priority elevators.
We kindly request that you give priority to those customers who need these elevators.
Any other actions that may cause inconvenience to other customers or staff, or interfere with the operation of our facilities, are prohibited.
